As announced Sunday on their MySpace, “Once Nothing is over.” The hardcore/metal band from Pittsburgh has been together for 10 years, and released their latest album “First Came the Law” on Solid States Records last year. Once Nothing, known as “blue collar metal”, was passionate about their music, and knew how to get people excited with heavy breakdowns and catchy lyrics.

Steve Lucarelli, former member of Once Nothing who left in 2008 had this to say about what they hoped fans would take away from their music in an interview with Read Rain City Ambience.

“I want them to take anything they can away. Whether it’s the fact that they connect with the lyrics, or the drum parts, or the fact that we break ourselves every night. If someone enjoys our music for any reason, we’ve done our job.”

A last goodbye show will be announced later this week on their MySpace.
